Introduction to Sorption Analysis (SA)

Thursday, October 1, 2026
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our series concludes with an introduction to Vapor Sorption Analysis (SA), which measures changes in sample mass as a function of temperature and humidity. By understanding how materials interact with water vapor, users can gain insights into stability, packaging requirements, storage conditions, and real-world product performance.

In this session you will:

  • Learn how sorption analysis measures moisture uptake as a function of humidity and temperature.
  • Understand how to design experiments using isotherms, isohumes, and appropriate equilibration conditions.
  • Develop the skills to interpret hygroscopicity, moisture stability, and diffusion behavior in materials.

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is open to new and experienced users who want to gain more insight into Sorption Analyzer measurements.
