Peter Hodder Senior Applications Scientist Rheology As a chemist graduate from the University of Birmingham (UK), Peter originally worked for 8 years in industry, working in the development of novel resins for the coatings markets, for companies like CVP and Total Parachemie. In 1995, he joined TA Instruments as part of a UK rheology application team designed to provide technical support to both external sales, service, R&D and of course, TA customers. This role has evolved over time and now Peter as the principal application support for rheology for the Europe North region, as well as supporting our distributor network in EMEA. |

Course Overview
Join us for a two-day training courses designed to enable users make the most of their instruments. In addition to practical handling of the instruments, participants will also gain an insight into the theoretical principles of the measurement methods and demonstrate potential applications. The course combines theoretical and practical components.
Participants will first be introduced to the theory and structure of the systems through presentations. This is followed by a detailed discussion of the calibration procedures required to generate reliable, accurate data.

- Practical hands-on using known samples to reinforce teachings.
Who should attend?
The training courses are aimed at users of TA Instruments' Discovery series rheometers. It is recommended that participants have already worked with the instruments for at least two months.
The training will be conducted in a small group due to ensure everyone gets hands-on experience whilst also allowing for more interactions for questions and discussion.

- Eligibility: Free for users with DHR/HR systems under warranty or an active service contract
